In 2006, Sarakshi Netralaya (a state-of-the-art ophthalmic care facility) was established in central India as a Super Speciality hospital for eye care and surgery. Sarakshi Netralaya is well connected with the city and was ideally established in Rajeev Nagar, next to the Jay Prakash Metro Station, which is on the route to Mihan and Buttibori.

Sarakshi Netralaya is among the few NABH accredited hospitals in Central India. NABH is the highest quality accreditation a hospital can achieve. Due to its emphasis on patient safety and care quality, patients are its biggest beneficiaries, followed by the hospital staff. All insurance companies and healthcare providers are required by law to accept NABH.

Our Chairman and MD, Dr. Prashant Bawankule, is a specialist in the field of Ophthalmology and a Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon. He is the founder of Sarakshi Netralaya and has worked his blood and sweat to build this institution from the ground up.

It is my privilege to welcome you to our dream – Sarakshi Netralaya. Sarakshi Netralaya was started in 2006 with a team of 10 technicians and one doctor in a small premise, with a dream to create the best super specialty eye care in Central India. Today, we have a 12000 sq ft, 30 bed stand-alone multispecialty eye hospital.

Sarakshi Netralaya is the preferred eye hospital not only in Vidarbha but also in neighboring states such as Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh. We have always been, and we will continue to be, a home for patients from all walks of life and any strata. All this is because of our quest to get the best technology on par with any developed country. We are proud to be one of the first few centers in our country to have 3D surgery and a widefield imaging system. Along with this, we have also pioneered many of the latest technologies in Central India.
