We make sure that all our employees are qualified enough to provide the right treatment for our patients. To do so, we ensure the proper training of our doctors, nurses, and helpers. We believe education goes a long way and that our patients deserve the best and fairest treatment possible, which is solely possible by acquiring the right education and experience.
Education
Sarakshi Netralaya is eager to announce that it is under the National Board of Examinations—New Delhi. Our MD, Dr. Prashant Bawankule, is an education enthusiast and supports and encourages any method of gaining knowledge. From one-day workshops to training sessions, he makes sure that all the employees are well acquainted and up to date with today’s medical terms. He is also keen on sharing experiences, ideas, and, moreover, anything that will benefit the organization.
PG Training
As mentioned earlier, Sarakshi Netralaya is now a PG training center accredited by the National Board of Examination. Every year, we admit two student trainees to work with us, giving them first-hand practical experience in the field of ophthalmology. It is an amazing experience, as they get to learn the application process of all the theoretical aspects that they have learnt. We get an extra helping hand at the hospital, and they acquire the field training. We admit students are eager to work under professionals and gain some primary experience and want to pursue their career in the field of ophthalmology.
Public Education
At Sarakshi Netralaya, we believe that it is important to educate the public and make them aware of medical terms. Sometimes, in cases of emergencies, it is important to give the patient immediate first aid. For situations like these, people need to be made aware of the basic first aid methods, like disinfecting a wound, CPR, etc. Our programs are specifically designed in a way to educate people about different eye diseases, their treatment, and the do’s and don’ts. We primarily focus on NGOs, orphanages, and homeless shelters to spread awareness among unfortunate children and people.
Staff Education
One of the most important aspects of health care is training the staff. Various exercises to maintain a healthy relationship among the employees, to keep them motivated, and to ensure smooth work are undertaken at Sarakshi. We make sure that every employee, technical or non-technical, is familiar with the emergency procedures, safety procedures, and patient care.
